Exhibition Cargos

Always In Time To Perform The Show

Our Company's action sphere encompasses the exhibition field, from the major fairs in Italy, to the most important international exhibitions or private events. We offer a full package of services: cargos reception from abroad, transfer to our facilities, delivery to venues and booths, and back shipping to the country of origin or to third countries for a new exhibition. We may rent special equipment such as forklifts, cranes, special trucks, provide the exhibitors with specialized workforce (installation teams) and multilingual assistance during the various phases of installation and storage of cargos or of empty packages. For an exclusive first class service, we can grant our supervising presence on site and foresee logistics surveyors liable to evaluate the location prior to the event to meet your expectations.

Finally, Planet Cargo can offer full insurance coverage, -"from nail to nail"- to prevent risks for valuable exhibit cargos.

Packing Solutions

We Protect Your Cargo

Planet Cargo can offer any kind of packing solution through different materials, depending on the opted transportation way, and to the different international regulations. In case of machineries, once we receive the cargo dimensions, weight and point of gravity, we can immediately study the best package solution and give a quotation. Similarly, for fragile cargos, we may study ad hoc solutions and provide strong and durable packages for air and sea transportation. All of the wooden packing material is regularly subject to fumigation treatment. If an existing package was not fumigated, we can offer such service on site, or at our warehouse, and issue a fumigation certificate.

Domestic Transportation

Cargo Pick Up From Any Remote Corner Of Italy

Normal Trucking Service: given the peculiar geographical features of the Italian territory, in order to grant a good timing in picking up and delivery and no additional stops at intermediate terminals, in each region we've selected the best local trucking companies.

Dedicated Trucking Service: in case of extreme urgency or of fragile cargos (like sport cars, design items, exhibition facilities) we always refer to our dedicated trucking company which guarantees picking up and delivery 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, with a GPS tracking system.

Oversize Trucking Service: for any project cargo of oversize weight or dimension, we can provide special trucks (through a special police permission application) and move the cargo to the port of loading. We may also rent special cranes and load heavy cargos onto the truck.

Warehousing

A Safe Place Where To Store Your Cargo

Our warehouse is available to our Customers for different uses: normal transit, to prepare cargos to air shipment (labelling, custom clearance, palletizing), long period storage, shipment of cargos undergoing import custom procedures. Our warehouse is certified and liable to accept dgrs cargos.

Surveyor Activity

Your Cargo Is Always Under Control

For shipments requiring a particular care in handling, loading and securing onboard - like cargos placed over flat rack or project cargo on conventional vessels - we may provide our Customers a thorough loading report, with pictures and material specifications of the operation. This service is available at any Italian port.
