Who We Are, What We Do

Planet Cargo Srl (previously Penta Shipping Italia) was established in 1995 in Milan as a branch office of Penta Shipping Group Denmark, with a strong vocation for sea freight shipments to the Far East, and for extra size cargos.

In 2004, given its continuous growth, and aiming at a breakthrough in the development of its business, Planet Cargo merged into the assets of COSCO, one of the major shipping lines of China. This joint venture was beneficial in terms of transport and logistics solutions, combining the solid, top level shipment tradition of a strong company like Cosco, with the creativity and passion of young Italian company like Planet Cargo.

To offer its Customers the best solutions, Planet Cargo is liable to find the best prices and services on the market, without being tied to corporate strategies or global buying policies, which usually affects the large freight forwarders. Our flexibility is the key quality of our services.

We focus on the choice of the suppliers to be sure to buy and offer our Customers the best services in the market. All our suppliers (customs brokers, packaging factories, trucking companies, warehousing services, etc) are certified. We consequently can concentrate exclusively on our Customers, and offer full assistance whatever the requests might be.

With the high mission to be a very professional international freight forwarder, we continue to develop our frontiers of international transportation and our range of logistics solutions, and always have the right reply to the requests of our Customers, whatever the commodity to ship or the destination to reach might be.
